Casino door - a casino behind the side-room door, unlocked permanently for 20 memories
Fish roulette - take an overhead view of the actual table and place several fish from your catch bag as bets
Wheel and ball - watch the wheel and ball spin on the table
Table orientation - the table faces the entrance, with its labels upright
Bet selection - fish already placed on the table leave the available choices, and the next fish is selected automatically
Changing bets - removing a fish or clearing unconfirmed bets makes those fish available again
Interrupted rounds - added safeguards for interrupted rounds and against duplicate payouts
Something remembered - some catches carry a recording. Listen in the catch bag and follow what the baths remember
A room off the baths - a new space to discover, with a door and a chair you can move. Once opened, it stays open through later visits
Recording captions - the words stay readable below a long catch bag, and a heard clue remains after the fish is sold
Five new figures - new models for the attendant, lifeguard, waiting woman, laundress and porter, with their original detail and texture maps
Original textures - the figures keep all fifteen original 2048 by 2048 maps under the baths' lighting
Seated hair - the waiting woman's full hair geometry is retained, fitted around her bench and clear of the floor
The porter's case - stands beside his shoes, matching his open handed pose
Specimen tank - can no longer be used through the sitting room's locked wall
Admission gates - stop the player near their visible faces
Admission requests - gates and directories open the relevant admission item and explain when it cannot yet be bought
Interrupted reels - Continue resumes the same concealed catch and reel, with discovery and collection rewards paid once when it is revealed
Failed saves - a catch stays concealed and retries if its reveal cannot be saved. Leaving with a never saved catch gives an extra warning before quitting
Wall casts - casts cannot reach a pool through a solid wall
Sofa rest - pauses behind menus, grants its steadier casts once, and cancels an unfinished rest when returning to the title
The stack - landing a fish is now a game of Stacker. Stop each row of lamps on the one below; whatever hangs over falls away, and every row runs faster
The LANDED line - take your fish there with right mouse, or keep stacking with left mouse
The TROPHY line - three rows higher, for twice the value and a bigger fish. Slip above the LANDED line and the fish is gone
Perfect rows - a row stopped exactly on the one below adds 5% to the catch, up to 50%
Harder fish - rarer fish and the deeper baths need taller, faster stacks, and the rarest narrow the rows themselves
Back to the title screen - from the pause menu. In company it leaves the session first, and the baths pass to another angler
Quit - on the title screen and in the pause menu. It asks once before closing the game
Settings - picture, sound and controls on a page of their own, from the title screen or the pause menu
Glass doors - the sitting room opens for 10 memories from a Return, and stays open for good, through every later Return
New fish - all 37 species are new models, each based on a real animal: a common carp, a bream, a perch, an eel, a moray, a lungfish, a wels catfish, an oarfish, a mola, a John Dory, rays, soles, and an axolotl the attendant still insists is a fish
Photographic skins - every fish wears real scales or skin at its own scale size, under its own colours and markings, and looks wet, catching the light scale by scale
Swimming - fish bend as they swim, beat their fins and thrash on the line. The pools and the specimen tank hold the same fish you catch
The Screamfish - its jaw hangs open now
Line, rods and rhythm - steady the stack's rows instead of widening the old timing band. Reel tuning and some rods take rows off the stack
Company bonus - every other angler now steadies everyone's rows a little, instead of widening the timing band
Scoreboard - the best catch shows as a catch, with its grade and value, so a fish's name no longer reads like another angler's
Scoreboard spoilers - the scoreboard named another angler's catch before their reel had stopped
Doorways - the gaps beside the gates between the baths, where you could see into the next room, are closed
The timing band - pulling inside a moving band is gone. The stack replaces it
3D specimens - every species you have caught turns as its own model in the fish album, lit in a small studio of its own. Species you haven't caught stay a dark "?"
Turning the model - W and S step through the album and the list follows; A and D turn the model
Television - the television watches every bath you have paid for through closed-circuit cameras and finds the one where the water has started to move
The room's pool - a cast in the sitting room fishes whichever bath is on the television, moving water included, and the first bath's when there is no signal
Specimen tank - keeps a few of the rarest species you have recorded, and opens the album
Sofa - rest there for eight steadier casts
Moving water - now and then one bath's water starts to move, with quicker bites and stranger fish
Passing remarks - people speak as you pass and when you leave
Commissions in person - a commission is settled with the person who asked for it
Modelled furniture - a clock, the counter's scale, a television, benches, lockers, changing stalls, the counter and its ledger
Casting - the rod turns from the elbow, so casting and striking swing your forearm with it
Reeling - the other hand pinches the crank knob, and the crank turns on an axle out of the reel
Sleeves - both arms wear jacket sleeves
Painted people - the attendant, the lifeguard, the waiting woman, the laundress and the porter are posed, painted figures with real eyes instead of the old blob people
Conversations - people greet you according to how far you have come, questions open up as you hear them and are remembered, and replies are typed out in a voice of their own. The camera turns to whoever is speaking
Bait and tackle - E at the attendant's counter opens bait & tackle straight away, headed by one remark from him
Signs - painted enamel signs mounted flush on the walls replace the floating text
Human scale - your eye is higher, level with the people, and doors, furniture and fittings are a consistent size in every bath
PS2 lighting - light is baked into the baths from their actual lamps, with shadows, darker corners, light bounced off the floor and the glow of the pools. Anything that moves is lit by the same lamps, and fog gathers with distance
Lamps - the strip lights glow softly
Water - clearer water over a lit pool floor, with low-resolution reflections, moving caustics, and fish swimming below the surface with their shadows on the floor
Float - a turned pencil float that rides in the water
Catches - a catch hangs from the line under the raised rod
Other anglers - appear as painted figures holding their rods, with the same float as yours
HUD - larger text
Fishing hand - the hand now closes around the rod, instead of an open, relaxed hand held clear of it
Fins - dorsal and anal fins no longer lose their trailing edge
Flickering - surfaces that flickered where they overlapped, at the pool corners, along the corridor ceilings and on the lane marks, no longer do
Floating fittings - lamps, showers, gauges, boards, pipes and windows sit on their walls and ceilings instead of floating off them
Drain grates - the shimmering rows of tiny black boxes along the pool edges are proper drain grates
Crates - every catch comes out of the water as a plain fish under a broadcast mosaic, then a reel of cards spins past a marker, ticks, slows and stops on what you actually caught
Card grades - pale for common, blue for unusual, violet for rare and red for impossible. The gold card is something else entirely
Unrecorded species - a fish you have never caught is a dark "?" card on the reel; the ones in your album show their own model
Hurry the reel - click while it spins to bring it to a stop sooner
Chat - press Enter to talk. The feed also says who has come in, who has gone home and when anyone lands something rare
Scoreboard - hold Tab with company to see who is here, which room they are in and what they have caught this session
Company bonus - every other angler makes everyone's catches worth 10% more, with sooner bites, a wider timing band and more rare fish
Shared crates - other anglers' catches come up under the mosaic too, until their reel stops
The regulars - global boards for fish caught, album entries and the best single catch, on the title screen and in the pause menu
Doors - a door you haven't paid for tells you how many anglers are already through it; each angler still pays their own admission
Waves - larger waves and a quicker drift on every pool, and the float rides them
Still water - the pools, their caustics and the television's static had stopped moving after an engine update. They move again
Old progress - everyone's progress has been reset once for this update, and every angler starts again in the Municipal baths. Volume, quiet mode and the console output setting carry over
Six baths - the Municipal baths, the Therapy pool, the Service bath, the Night laundry, the Winter garden and the Last platform
Admissions - pay 120, 480, 1,800, 5,200 and 14,000 tokens to go further in, and travel free between the baths you have paid for from the pause menu
Sitting room - a room off the Municipal baths with a floral sofa, blue curtains, a silent television and its own water
People - the attendant, the lifeguard, the waiting woman, the laundress and the porter, each with things to talk about. The waiting woman has a request
Fishing - cast, wait for the float to sink, strike, then pull while the marker is inside the timing band. Three missed pulls and the fish gets away
37 fish - six species in each bath, with weight records and notes in the fish album
Something else - one catch doesn't belong to any bath. Quiet mode removes its scare, but not the fish
Selling - sell your catch at the attendant's counter for tokens
Seven rods - each with its own bonus to catch value, timing, bite speed, pulls, rare fish or species you haven't recorded
Upgrades - eight levels each of reel, line and bait, and six of bag space
Commissions - six requests, one for each bath, pay for particular catches during a visit, and you keep the fish
Collections - a bonus for finding all six of a bath's fish in one visit
The Return - open all six baths and land six fish at the Last platform to start a new visit, keeping memories that buy permanent bonuses
Multiplayer baths - open the baths to up to eight anglers, who join through s&box or Steam and see each other walk, cast, reel and show their catches
Your own visit - every angler keeps their own fish, tokens, tackle, admissions and save, and nobody's menu pauses anyone else
Host handoff - the visit carries on with another angler when the host leaves
Console look - cold photographic textures, silver and cobalt water, darkness falling away with distance and a stable 448-line picture
Sound - synthesized room tone, splashes, tackle sounds and the occasional distant disturbance
Settings - quiet mode, volume and the picture treatment in the pause menu, and progress saves automatically
