Dead Weight game · Yesterday Recommended
I like the concept and gameplay! The main gameplay loop seems to involve killing targets, and dragging bodies back to sell them for money, and managing energy in the process. Consuming beer gives energy back, but gives less the more you consume, so choosing targets that are nearby and worth more seem like part of the gameplay loop, which I found interesting. There are a decent amount of tools to buy, but most of them aren't particularly helpful in their current state: • I never really saw a point to buy ammo for the pistol, since as far as I could tell, the knife didn't consume energy or take much time to use. If there are hostile enemies later, or consequences for letting too many targets get away, this would likely change. • I tried the cart, and it felt like it took more time and energy to use it than just directly dragging bodies directly. Could see myself using it if you needed to move there were several small parts, but this is never beneficial in this demo. • While not a "tool", the butcher's shop will buy body parts, but not whole bodies. Maybe there's a gimmick or trick to this, but It never seemed to pay out more than selling bodies directly, so it never felt worth using this. • Rope seems to work fine as is, since it allows you to drag bodies without energy, but more slowly. Only really seems useful as a last resort when you run out of energy. optimizing these tools or having more reasons to use them would be interesting to see. Looking forward to seeing what future updates & the finished game look like.

The Hole game · Yesterday Shows Promise
Feels like dig power scales up absurdly quickly, but bag size doesn't scale well. takes a long time to climb back out of the hole, so it feels like most (early) gameplay consists of you running back and forth to sell dirt. Right now, the main building's interior becomes very bright/all white sometimes since the latest update.

Neat typing game/trainer. Would like the option to adjust music volume, as well as keyboard sfx by default.

Fun concept, but progress slows pretty quickly and some items are clearly much more important than others despite costing as much as others. It feels like large trees sell for far more, and you want to cut trees into smaller logs are little as possible because of it. Carts seem like they should be more useful - They don't seem to make moving the items inside them easier, so I found myself skipping them and just dragging & selling one large solid tree, since it ends up being faster to sell, and (as mentioned above) often pays out more than the smaller logs you'd need to load a cart. Strength upgrades are absurdly useful, since you can drag the larger (most valuable) pieces to sell, and since carts don't seem to speed up moving several large objects, and add a big chunk of carry weight per upgrade Speed upgrades make a very small difference, and I never noticed a difference after several of them. Carry count upgrades only seem useful early game, when you're moving several smaller logs. As soon as larger trees were available, I found myself skipping this upgrade altogether.

Not engaging. Tedious for the sake of it, with no checkpoints. Also has collision for some reason, so you can bump/block other players. Already seen enough games with a similar gimmick for it to lose its appeal, imo - Needs something else or more original to make me consider it worth playing.
