Escape From Klapan game · Yesterday Needs Work
Loaded in, laggy asf. No weapons equipped, no menu, just walking around in a map with an invisible wall that doesn't let me proceed. Basically a nothing game rn

No real improvements on base Dark RP which barely worked as a "fun game" in the first place. No innovation, still manually moderated when you could just make doing crimes illegal and carry increasing jail times. If you liked original Dark RP but wanted it to be unoptimized and slow, then you'll love this. If you wanted any improvement at all, this is not it.

There's a lot to love about this game! The combat is phenomonal. Much better than Dark and Darker in my opinion. It feels fluid, smooth, like there's a rhythym to combat! What I really want to see is a traps update! I think making us inspect a chest before opening it would add a very unique seriousness to the game that would help distinguish it and set a traditional dungeon crawly tone! I imagine strings on the side of the chest, sometimes a button on the back, and finally, late game, a small sliver of gold around the bottom of the chest, all things you just need to press e on to disarm, would compel players to duly inspect the chest before opening it, and set a cool tone! Then other traps as well, I know it's procedurally generated, so it has to go through careful testing, but traps would be nice to spice things up, on doors too. So people could be doing multiple things at once, like inspecting a door, while the other two kite out a monster in the room. Seems like must takes for me are the Skirmishers speed boost and dodge. I seriously can't help but take those every run, unless I'm Wizard which is when I don't have access to it. I'd like to see all the other skills get a passover buff maybe considering the speed boost and dodge seem so fundamentally useful, it could make the choice harder for me. Wizard seems very OP right now. Apparently we don't even have skill points for them yet! Just spells! Which is ridiculous! I feel like Wizards are strong because it's easy to keep away from monsters and deal serious damage at the same time once you get the rhythym down. Most of my wins are on Wizard, Fighter honestly feels like hardmore. Wizards deen a speed nerf and the monsters need a speed buff, and I think they'll be more balanced. Maybe nerf wizard speed while casting more. If magic is this super complex and powerful thing, why can you jog while doing it? Maybe they're just good Wizards, but I think they should only be allowed to walk. Please add a shop and a reason to spend gold! I think that would incraese my play time greatly and give me more of a reason to play! And please introduce an endless mode! ty!

The fighting in this game is boring, and that's when it works. Towards what I assume is the end of the demo of this so called "brawler" my character was no longer able to attack, even with full energy. He could still block, but he couldn't attack for some reason. Everytime I defeated an enemy, his ragdoll would glitch out on the ground and suddenly my game would stutter ever 2 seconds until the body despawned? Very cool Graphics and Audio though!
