Luck be a Terry game · 8 Days Ago Needs Work
s&box free money hack: look at a popular incremental game, use AI to recreate it poorly, publish, profit. this is just absolutely shameless. stealing someone's game and remaking it with minimal effort and zero passion should earn a ban from publishing games. this shit makes the whole community look bad.

i'm kinda done with this game but it was fun while watching videos. the music and ui were pretty well made. did feel a bit grindy and i wasn't at all a fan of how all the boards have edges where coins can fall off giving no value. it also felt like using an autoclicker was absolutely mandatory which is pretty lame. could be better with some updates.

i love this game. the tiny mouse characters and unique ddr-like fish catching alone make it stand out from every other fishing game. everything from the cute handrawn fish to cozy ambience and music is just lovely. i'd love to see this get updated with more content and polish like a better UI, but as it stands it's already easily one of, if not the, best games on s&box. hoping for more music, too!

Corgi Clicker game · 18 Days Ago Needs Work
where do i start with this? do i start with the reviewer 𝓜𝓸𝓛𝓷𝓘𝔂𝓪 that has only ever left four reviews, all of which are positive reviews for this developer's "games"? maybe the fact that 19/20ths of his playtime are for this developer's games? yeah, definitely no playfund and review manipulation going on with this guy's alt account/buddy. or maybe i should start with how this game falsely advertises a "hand-drawn" style despite using 100% ai-generated assets with no disclosure. sure, lets just fucking lie, why not. actually maybe i should have started with how this is a reskin of his previous game, "Cat Clicker", which shares identical gameplay systems and features but with ai-generated corgis instead of cats. between the descriptions for these games, the only difference is "Cat" being swapped to "Corgi". i'm sorry, but this is literally the shit that's literally gonna kill s&box. blatant, passionless ai-generated slop being pumped out that gets its reviews and playtime manipulated, while absolutely cucking genuine devs trying to get their passion projects noticed. report this.

i thought i'd take a page out from the developer's book and just do what he did- re-release the same thing. considering it's literally the same game, they may as well share my review. where do i start with this? do i start with the reviewer that has only ever left four reviews, all of which are positive reviews for this developer's "games"? maybe the fact that 19/20ths of his playtime are for this developer's games? yeah, definitely no playfund and review manipulation going on with this guy's alt account/buddy. or maybe i should start with how this game falsely advertises a "hand-drawn" style despite using 100% ai-generated assets with no disclosure. sure, lets just fucking lie, why not. actually maybe i should have started with how he had the gall to re-release this magnum opus of game design as an entirely seperate game, which shares identical gameplay systems and features but with ai-generated corgis instead of cats. between the descriptions for these games, the only difference is "Cat" being swapped to "Corgi". i'm sorry, but this is literally the shit that's literally gonna kill s&box. blatant, passionless ai-generated slop being pumped out that gets its reviews and playtime manipulated, while absolutely cucking genuine devs trying to get their passion projects noticed. report this.

Sandtris game · 21 Days Ago Needs Work
i thought the other review had to be exaggerating- but this dev must really have the highest contrast monitor on the planet because telling apart the color of the default pieces was legit impossible challenge for me and i'm not even colorblind. i love the premise of combining falling sand with tetris and was expecting to like this. i think with a little work this could improve greatly. in addition to fixing the contrast issue, maybe the default difficulty should be lowered a bit but it's hard to tell with colors in the current state. edit: the colors were fixed but it's become apparent this game's concept was stolen and poorly reproduced with AI. considering this dev's whole sbox porftfolio so far is five ai-coded stolen concepts, they should honestly get a ban from publishing games. bro is just throwing stolen shit at the wall and hoping something sticks. stop trying to take cheap shortcuts and make something you're actually passionate about.

Explore! game · 21 Days Ago Needs Work
having tried this game more after my initial review, i feel like this is a game that puts on an illusion of extreme depth but in reality the mechanics and balancing feel so mismatched and poorly thought through- like the dev didn't even try making a game he'd actually want to play themself. it quickly boils down to autobattling through swaths of mindnumbing basic enemies. it feels to me that everything from class to ability design was generated by AI. there are indications of AI having been used in writing, like constant uses of em dashes. some facets of the game design are bizarre, like how the same exact skills can be acquired through the skill tree, class advancement, and direct learning. this just feels like a bunch of ai-generated shit slapped together into an "RPG". the only positive i can give is that this guy got multiplayer working.

it's one of those games where you can tell real passion went into it. i could see this being lots of fun with a friend or few. i loved the music, probably the best OST i've heard for a s&box game. the sound effects were goofy and well done. the visuals are cozy and lo-fi. the only thing i'd suggest so far would be options to tone down the viewbobbing, and maybe the visual filter. definitely recommend this one!

a full-loot pvp space mmo is more amibitious than anything i ever expected from sbox. i don't really know if that's my kind of genre but clearly the developer put a lot of work into this for an initial release. i like that it feels more approachable than eve. though i imagine pvp in this game with everything on the line is going to turn a lot of people off. i didn't like the AI art, particularly noticable on the npc portraits. just get an asset pack for now or something.

idk if my game bugged but i spent five minutes struggling to get out of the first bunker and failing which sucks because i was pretty excited after seeing the screenshots. i do love how it replicate's riven's style despite being rendered in 3d realtime. i do recommend trying it, maybe you'll find whatever i missed. i do have to say the biggest problem in this game is probably that you seemingly can't pet the dog.

cool vibes, music wasn't bad but could've gone a lot harder and didn't really match the gritty visuals. i liked that the levels were straightforward and that the void keeps you moving. it's not the kind of roguelike where you go backtracking and mintpicking every single floor before proceeding. i really wasn't a fan of how absolutely fucked your vision gets as you stack substances to improve your stats. that's probably what will keep me from trying more runs. as someone with a visual condition it's not ideal. it'd be nice to have some settings to tone it out. regardless i recommend checking it out, and i'm looking forward to trying out the dev's future work!

facepunch did a pretty good job of putting their own spin on the survivor genre. i do wish it'd be fleshed out more but understandably the intention is mostly to be a fun showcase of the engine's potential. as usual, great audio and visuals in their games.

you throw a paper plane and fly it through rings and try to land it. it's nice but my only complaint is landing the plane with the whole bouncy ball thing is giga hard. kinda sucks losing progress for the whole level cause you missed a landing.

i was so excited seeing the screenshots and pitch but sadly i got some error saying "Failed to get EST time for seed generation" and was stuck in a void listening to a sick track. i'll have to come back to this one as soon as that's fixed but somehow i feel like i can still recommend it for the vibes and originality.

well, i only played a few minutes but it's a pretty decently made rhythm game. i'd like if the visuals were a little better and didn't involve the sausages. this is the first rhythm game i've seen on s&box. the music was like, decent but also felt like kinda mid open source tunes. defnitely not UNBEATABLE tier. also there's multiplayer but i didn't get to try it.
