heLLLudo [EARLY DEMO] game · 7 Days Ago Recommended
Even though I’m the creator, I’m posting here just so the page isn't empty. I won’t list the pros and cons—it’s better if you try it out and decide for yourselves—but my teammate and I really enjoyed playing it. Even if it was only for half an hour, it was a genuinely happy experience to have created something ourselves and tried to make it original, rather than just borrowing good ideas from others. That’s why "heLLLudo" and I aren’t stopping here; we plan to keep developing the game after the jam, albeit at a more relaxed pace. Good luck, and please—feel free to rate or roast our efforts as you see fit.

I don't even get the concept; it's just one of those sloppy jobs people churned out using the new Claude—unoptimized, unengaging. I honestly have no idea what it's doing in the jam.

This is probably the best thing presented so far; the potential for further development is evident, so I’ll be keeping an eye on it and looking forward to updates.

Well, it's really bad; controlling the character is impossible, everything feels laggy, and there are a lot of eyesore AI-generated textures.

The mode is pretty fun if you just want to kill time while watching YouTube, TV series, and the like. At first, you actually engage with the gameplay, but once you reach the furthest locations, it basically comes down to standing in one place with a mouse macro running so you don't stop clicking, while occasionally checking how full your inventory is. So, the main pros are the gameplay, replayability, and frequent updates—though the content only lasts about 10–30 hours (I think a major update just dropped, but I haven't checked it out yet; I'll update this review if things have improved). Probably the biggest downsides are the poor optimization and the fact that, by the endgame, the game turns into an idle clicker.
