Chill vibe, models and UI also look good. But what even is going on lol. Instantly thrown in and it's just information overload, so I walk into the first room and instantly swarmed by blue slimes. Touching anything will ragdoll you, even walking around on the slime's trail ragdolls you, but the room is covered by it. The blue slimes just insantly swarm you before you can even shoot them, why are they so god damn fast they basically teleport, and then you can't do anything. The aiming is also very lackluster, especially in third person, most of the time my shots just went through the ground. It was better to play in top down view since it would at least attempt to autoaim for you, but even then I'd find my shots stick to the upper floors or whatever was below the camera.

Once we got a few players in, the game started to get fun. Custom models and maps are always good to see, although the characters I'm not sure what the differences are since you can pick your loadout. The second map, the one with the cars and crates, hasn't been playtested it feels like. There's many spots you can't fit through, including most doorways unless you crouch! All the movement tech is thrown out of the window due to how little walls there are or how much crap is in the way. The first map, the one in the desert, is perfect for this game though. The jump pack logic is weird, I wish it showed an arch of where I'll land, and most of the time it clips me through walls and makes me fall through the map. Portals also either work or not, sometimes they z-fight, other times they don't let anyone in, and in general they are very laggy to be around. Bots are wayyy too strong even when set to 10% skill level, they just have aimbot! Excluding the people that actually did have aimbot, there's already cheaters. Melee is also weird, they knew it was overpowered so they added like a 5 seconds cooldown between every swing, but it's annoying how if you're playing melee it instantly switches to your main weapon after you get a kill.

Finally a classic tower defense. UI is confusing and graphics are pretty grayish. Took me a while to find the map function.

Fun little experience, unique but short gameplay loop. I wish we could actually have a stage where we see the visitors and perhaps expand the gameplay loop. Perhaps make that phase into one to purchase upgrades? This way visitors count actually serves for something. The controls are weird once you get in, your direction follows the camera but not completely, so mouse to look is pretty useless since it's only used in the intro sequence. Some traps are redundant, like the tiles trap which can just be treated as a jump trap and you're safe, or the falling rocks trap which you can't go over when running back since the rocks that previously fell block you from going under. Would like to see more, maybe even more types of dungeons? Like one where you're digging up dino bones, idk! Unfortunately I can't nominate, the theme adherence is just too weak. "One More Round" does not fit this game

Pooners game · Today Shows Promise
Very original concept, the UI is also cool and interactive, haven't seen anything like it. Controls are easy to understand and master, perhaps unrealistic rope swinging but necessary for a fast paced pvp. Using the harpoons themselves as a weapon is extremely hard, and the fact that it takes 2 or 3 shots to kill someone is just too much. Every battle ends up being just a "face each other and wiggle around hoping your poon hits the enemy", and despite the good controls it becomes hard to track your pooner status as by hitting them it's instantly reset, otherwise you have to reel it back in so you can't know if you have to tap or recharge sometimes. It would be great if there was a secondary weapon, bound to RIGHT CLICK (Move jetpack to middle click) that is a melee hitscan with generous range and make pooners instakilled as a reward. That would encourage people to more around more, imagine hitting someone with your melee while they're swinging or punishing someone for standing still by instapooning it. Will retry after some updates

GATEFRONT game · Yesterday Needs Work
I'll review this as a game jam entry, which the theme adherence is weak already (One More Round). The game is pretty polished, short gameplay loop but we've seen it a million times already. UI feels out of place, possibly made with AI as it's the same kind of UI I've noticed in many other games already. There's some flavour text for area names or attack descriptions, but it's clearly an afterthought since it doesn't even last 1 second before it goes to the next, feels like polish-slop and completely unnecessary. We don't need to know the falling rock's name! Once you gather enough units, it becomes impossible to pick which gate you want to go through, and that's a big pet peeve of mine with these games. It shouldn't be hard to read player's intent, I'm holding D and going all the way to the right, you should know I want to go for the gate to my right! After a while I noticed my choices didn't really matter, I've played 3-4 times without pressing any button or moving and I always won, just 10 seconds or so slower than if I did put effort into it. There's only 1 "Round" (or so it's called) with the same boss and enemies, I see some randomization but it just needs more content in general and it would do well because it did keep my attention for longer than I'd like to admit.

Cute strategy game with clear end goal. Plays well and each unit has its purpose. Map gets a bit crowded after a while, and 15 rounds are barely enough even if one side is crushing it, but at the same time I wish the map was bigger and more strategic. The "One more round" mechanic feels out of place, especially since the CPU also has it but doesn't seem to use it? I also couldn't tell what filled up the bar for it. Maybe make it based around special resources you can collect around the map? Also needs more levels and harder CPUs.

Reminds me of the good old TF2 MvM days. Very early, some enemies just instakill you and it's missing a lot of audio stuff, but will be great when it's finished. The graphics are cute and the FX look very nice, especially the outlines on everything.

The Drunken Squirrel game · 3 Days Ago Needs Work
It's hard to select things or place items with the amount of triggers, half the times I want to place a glass I pour the keg instead, and with shorter customers I'm unable to give them their order unless I jump crouch on the register. The gameplay is just too hectic and unrewarding, literally every customer will try to steal from you, puke on the floor, flip a table, piss on the fire, or break the ceiling. And there's no way to stop them, so many times I tried kicking the dumb goblins but after taking my keg back they just walk out like business. Between fixing everything, cleaning the glasses, getting every order correct from impatient customers, I still finish the day full of 1 star reviews, I've never seen a 2 star review either, completely unsatisfying! Maybe it's because it's a game meant for multiplayer, but being alone and trying to do everything became more of a chore than fun. Also I generally dislike when games keep adding new mechanisms and requirements for me to do while keeping the reward the same. I start with just mugs of ale, cider, or stout, those are like $5 ok. But then we go to mixing different %, using different glasses, cocktails, shaken, all that crap while the customers still wait impatiently, and the reward is always the same amount for much more effort! If this was my business I'd only do the simple drinks if the complex ones costed the same! The keg replacement is very creative and impressive, a door that takes you to different places and seemingly warp space, I like the ambient inside of those doors too. The character animations also seem to be original, although unpolished, so I'll give them that. As for the biggest red flag, it's all the AI generated models and textures, and we can't really prove it but the UI I've also seen a million times in other games, if not made with AI it's still very out of place. Since the models are AI generated they don't have PBR so everything has this plastic look to it. And it all clashes, it's all different styles, you have a low poly peasant, a PSX knight, an anime furry, a cartoony wizard, a stylised goblin, and I guess the playermodels are also anime furry style? It definitely doesn't feel intentional and gives off a very cheap vibe to this game. Unfortunately we can expect more AI generated art from this org as most other games from them contain some form of AI generated videos or assets.

Instantly caught my eye, very charming and chill. I'd love to play the full version, and yea this one is pretty buggy. Especially when grass blocks don't generate around the map, and the second to last level requires the grass blocks to stop a crate from overshooting the box.

Reminds me of classics from Flash, good progression and charming graphics. Controls are confusing though, it's better to just drive over the ramps instead of boosting to glide, boosting just uses up much more fuel than driving over it.

Awesome original game in s&box, very charming characters and style. The mushrooms in V0.01 only 1 out of 3 times jump you the required height for some reason, and a couple of spots are incredibly hard to not fall off from the dive or roll.

Audio and graphics are cute, classic beginner game as well. The character sprite seems to be offset though, you can see it when looking left then right, or when missing coins that totally should've been collected. The shop is crazy work too, so few coins each run and the characters cost hundreds, which would be fine if there was more content. Unfortunately it gets repetitive by the second run.

Interesting premise but the wall of text at the beginning is just too much, would be better if each mechanic/enemy was introduced on different levels. Looks very early in development, will try when it's more updated.

Yet another crappy Roblox slop with Rebirth mechanic using AI generated assets, and at this point everything. No redeeming qualities really, if the AI had control instead of the "developer" it would've made a better product. Just a look at the org's games tells you all you need to know, pushing complete slop day after day, we're reached a level below shovelware, this is complete and utter e-waste.

Horde Breaker game · 19 Days Ago Shows Promise
Average survivor-like game, unfortunately misses most of what makes them good; no upgrade paths or different playstyles, at the end it's always about having your gun shoot faster with more bullets, there's only 8 total upgrades or so. You get used to the car-aligned controls but it's very slippery and the car seems to automatically turn towards the velocity so you can't drift or even change direction at all unless you slow down. The "run over zombies with your car" aspect is never used except for early game, no upgrades for it and after a certain point an enemy that can completely stop your car spawns in the hordes and you can't know. It becomes better to just stand still and shoot at the zombies instead of killing yourself by driving into the horde.

Early game is hard but I managed to push through in some gameplays. Wish I could BE the country instead of being myself and having to take over Italy 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹 Late game even if you have tons of ports, cities, industries, etc... it's just impossible to take over smaller nations, especially in the south pole, you can send 2M troops to a 100k country and they'd fend you off.

Good graphics and music. Unfortunately it's extremely slow, I made no progress in half an hour. Rebirth mechanics are complete slop, how can a game have so little content and the developer still adds a rebirth mechanic, just add more content instead of forcing the players to restart to experience the full game.
