[Title] I think this feature will allow developers that actively work on the games to reply reviews that can be out-dated information from a few months ago (For example: when the game was broken because of an update.)
Nice idea, on top of that I would recommend a "delete review" button too, bcs right now we can edit our review on a game, but we can't just completely remove it if we want to.
This should also be made available to the game developer
Well idk if this a joke ahah bcs this would lead to devs literally faking their reviews, I mean we could have a "Report" button I think however, if the review made by someone contains insults or some kids behaviour, review like that as an example:
Poop lol 💩💩💩
Then yes I agree we should have a button to report such kiddy behaviour.
i this they should also add a character threshold that you need to meet in order to upload a review. Someone saying 2 words and leaving a bad or good review does not mean much
Really review system is cooked, i saw a guys (will not share) he sent 350+ review all of thems are bad review AND use clearly random tags, as some of thoses games have like no bugs but put as bugs etc etc ... maybe a bot ?
I think developer replies would just lead to dumb arguments 99% of the time. You have to just ignore negative reviews that don't make sense. Same with any game platform.

you have to ignore the negative feedback yes but i would still love to be able to reply to positive feedback. be able to reply to reviews thanking them and letting them know ive used their feedback and updated the game, this way future users can also see that certain things said in the reviews are now changed or updated

Steam allows for replies. Would really love to ask some reviewers what kind of errors they were encountering to give me a bad rating.
The issue of reviews has a very simple solution... 1 stop allowing anonymous reviews, 2 display the playtime at the time of posting, just as Steam does, and last but not least.... 3 show the total percentage of positive and negative reviews left by each user on their profile.
There is a part of me that would like this, but mostly to ask additional feedback on their issues. But for this gamejam I just build some analytics tools ontop of the stat system (I can record play sessions for instance)
I got a negative review that only said thisBut i can just open their play session, and see they walked out the DOOR and fell out the map.. lol my bad fixed now.
-We should have a way to report "troll" like reviews, but at same time if you get 100 reviews and 10 are trolls it shouldn't hurt you as much.. so maybe its just a playercount issue.
Maybe the solution is to encourage players to engage with a games forum ? I think this is SUPER underutilized, and I wonder if any non-developers here are even aware that those exist ? I think it would be nice if a game's forums can be interacted from within a game, so that players have a integrated experience for the forums, I don't think requiring them to go to a separate website is working well.

This could be solved by front page showing a category of "Games you reviewed that have been updated!"
