Promising incremental game, but with some issues.
Things I liked:
• Engaging, didn't feel like it was worth idling most of the time
• Most upgrades felt impactful, including prestige upgrades - Felt like I was making progress
until 'hatching'/prestiging about 10+ times
• I like the visuals
Things I think need work:
• Each 'hatch' (prestige) increases the health of eggs. This is fine by itself, but eventually leads to progress stalling out:
- Some basic upgrades have a hard cap (such as click damage), and Feather upgrades for damage become much more costly over time, but hatch rewards don't seem scale in the same way. Eventually the health scales too high and the game becomes very slow to progress.
• Feather "Golden egg spawn rate" upgrades dilute other (more valuable) spawns, and there's no way to revert this without starting a new game. Changing how this upgrade affects the spawn rate of other eggs, or allowing you to revert this upgrade, would make this a non-issue.
- Either making it only reduce the spawn rate of eggs below the "golden egg" rarity, and/or increasing all egg spawn rates at or above golden egg rarity, would be good solutions in my opinion.
- Another good solution (and something I think would be helpful in general) is a way to reset the feather upgrade tree and redistribute feathers.
