Multipurpose component library that replaces the default ModelPhysics (And performs better too) API for it will be very clear and exposes what the developer needs after a month of working with ragdolls. More features will be allowing for any of these modes on a single bone or a hierarchy of bones, think having your left leg ragdolled and your right arm frozen while the rest is active. Just gotta wait for Facepunch to expose NetworkTransforms to make it public so it works in multiplayer too.Note: The statue is built on a single rigidbody so it's perfect statue collisions instead of welding the bodies together like in Gmod
I’ve been experimenting with AI movement, flocking, and group behavior, trying to find the right balance of chaos at high speed. Been pretty neat, simple steering and spacing rules end up producing surprisingly cool behavior.
Enemies accelerate to catch up, spread into loose lanes, and try to flank and cut you off instead of just following directly behind. Some push in close while others hang back, creating pressure from multiple angles as the chase builds. More recently Enemies attempt to swerve around large props and wrecks in the road, but if they come in too fast or misjudge a turn, they slam into obstacles and explode.
Winter 2025 art made in S&box with Scene tools. Quick flythrough so you can see how I put these marketing environments together. And a slightly altered version of the Scene for our first themed main menu
Rough breakdown of putting it together. Had a rough idea going in of what I wanted it to look like. Big jump between 5 - 6, but the gist of it was experimenting with poses and balancing the composition for the final shot.
A friend and I made a short 2 Player Coop Jump&Run - Sewer Synergies. It has bugs and lacks polish, since it's our first game, but I'm still proud of the small, unique experience we were able to create! Multiplayer posed some especially difficult challenges.
Seeing a lot of amazing creations in the thread, keep it up, guys! Love the harpon gun car, reminds me of Mad Max, teamwork with not so ugly backseat guy! The ship project from the @subzero team also looks amazing! Eager to see how the game looks in the end.
I'm preparing a simple funny project, the trailer will be on Eridium Showcase. I hope that people will be able to enjoy and feel the vibe of christmas. And there will be a secret giveaway of the santa hat too.
Added a camera mode that uses the new API that was added to take steam pictures. Same idea as the camera mode found in games like Cyberpunk or Death Stranding.
Did a simple mount for Half-Life 2 during the holidays, you can check out the code here or watch a brief demo on YouTube here. Contributions are welcome!
